Locations for our Preliminary

These two locations were chosen because it seemed to be the best location at the time to start filming, as during the breaks there is not too many people around, and thus we wouldn't get any unwanted background noise - as well as it allowed us to pan the camera rather than overusing the still-camera medium/long shots.

Although the white-balance was not adjusted on these pictures it was agreed that this would be an ideal entrance to enter the building through - not very many people to get in the way of the shot, and both doors were within the shot, so we could keep the camera still.
Shots in this corridor were still undecided at this point, but having the most likely shots placed on the blog would definitely help with the later decision making of the filming as we'd have all the potential angles already on camera, and we'd be aware of how it'd look.

This corridor is perfect because of two reasons, firstly - it is in a part of the college that not very many people go through, as well as having an empty room of which to have the character enter or exit for the filming.
This room is perfect for the eventual filming of the dialogue scene - it is a small room and only two doors, one of which is always locked. This room is perfect as there would be minimal background noise and we could control the settings of the room as much as possible without distractions.

This location was chosen because it would seem like a more dramatic shot to have the subject viewed from many angles, and it might give the hint that he's being followed as he's always looking behind him, and the camera is never in the same place.

  1. Well done all can you add some annotation to the images and change your time stamp to GMT rather than US time. Well done everyone
